I pick Batman the Dark Knight as an example of Existentialist in Film because he resembles the characteristics that Sarte talks about. Even though Batman is a dark character, we as the audience see the good deeds that he does. However, the citizens of Gotham mistaken his benevolent doings for something else because he has to conceal the hero at that time (Harvey Dent, the White Knight) for all the crimes that he did after he became Two Faces.
